What does it all mean?

Because the fluorescence exponentially increases over a short period of time, it produces a discrete time signature. The graph above depicts the time points for four concentrations of initiating protease. 

By the end of our Protease Chain Reaction, the  protease concentration has been exponentially amplified to produce an easily detectable signal. Finally, we can determine the concentration of the initiating protease by comparing the time to signal, as shown above.
